Ass licking and the cops arresting him and looking up his ass. ...thats what I'm understanding atleast.

Nine Inch Nails – Head Like a Hole Lyrics 21 years ago
It's about Greed and Religion and other shitty things like that. Let's face it, religions are greedy these days. Greedy and power hungry. To better explain this, I'll do it in parody form. &_&

"All worship his lord, the god of Corn. He gives us corn, but if you don't donate money to the church and if you don't do everything that church says to you than the Corn god will sentence you to a life of hay-ell."

Rammstein – Du Hast (English) Lyrics 21 years ago
Okay... to explain the real lyrics.
This is how it goes... you see the song should actually be Du Hasst, as it is sung. Which would mean the lyrics, almost like the english version are:

You
You Hate
You Hate Me
You
You Hate
You Hate Me
You Hate Me
You Have Asked Me To Say
You Have Asked Me To Say
You Have Asked Me To Say And I Did Not Obey

He's talking about being at the alter and how the bride hates him and how the minister and bride are trying to get him to say "I do."

Before anyone asks: German is my first language, English is my second.

...and bored 1, it is you who has no brain. People with brains tend to put in the effort of punctuation, capitalization, proper spelling, etc.

Thin Lizzy – Whiskey in the Jar Lyrics 21 years ago
The afro or the song?

Best version of this song EVER. Also, for those not from the Celtic lands *Screw England. Ireland and Scotland need to revolt* this song is about a man stealing from an army captain, taking his earnings to a bar, spending most of it on beer.

Heres the main difference between the original song and the Thin Lizzy version:

Original: The mans girlfriend dips his gunpowder in water and hides his rapier. She then gets Captain Farrell to come *having an affair with the Captain mabey?* and arrest him. Since he can't use wet gun powder he's arrested, and he then talks about how when he gets out he wants to go out adventuring with his brother in the army.

Thin Lizzy version: Molly apparently had no ties with the Captain, he just happens to of tracked the man to Molly's house *apparently they knew each other in both versions, explaining how he knew the Captain's name* The man has his rapier and his pistols now, not damaged, and he shoots at the Captain, killing him, then he is thrown in prison for life.

Also note: I did say Ferrall. In the original song, it's spelled Farrell. In the Thin Lizzy version, its Farrel. Yes, Ferrall is infact a last name, though it is actually Scottish. *It's my family name on my dads side.*

Marilyn Manson – I Don't Like the Drugs (But the Drugs Like Me) Lyrics 21 years ago
I love this song so much...
I beleive this is about being raised in a Christian-infested society where in school you are taught only moral lessons instead of how the real world works. Then, when you're an adult, you just can't handle the thumpers around you telling you that you are evil, so you take drugs to ease your mind and forget about them.

Also, wasn't 15 minutes of shame from 1984? Might be mistaken...

I think in that part of the song he is talking about basically being forced to quit the drugs by christians, then being publicly humiliated about it.
