i agree with koinkoin about what it is about. I think though that this is about a guy who really is in love with this girl but he knows he can never have her (maybe she is engaged to another guy or something).i only dream of you and you never knew). His love is almost to the point of obsession and he decides that if he can't have her then no one can, and he is singing this to her while he is suffocating her as she sleeps (tiptoe to you room). And actually i just thought.......... that is quite basic i don't think that Matt would write a song with lyrics that are that much of a cliche. Hmmm...... it remains unknown!! I wonder if the bands ever look on here...................... |

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the lyric "Take my hand/ we'll be able to fly/ baby i'm your man" I mean..... SO GREAT! The way he sings it is just...... great! Graet song!! It is a cover?? I didn't think it was a cover! Oh well.......I think that their two voices work well together. I think it is about the etarnal love (like Romeo and Juliet) thing as well. Shall have to listen to the BOC version then. |

When i saw this one i thought it was probably quite wrong! But the more i think about it.... it's alright really! Not as good as the Nirvana version PROBABLY but that is just because they sing differently, so not so much "not as good" but different! |

America is now realising the coolness of Muse!! Anyway this song actually reminds me of an ex-boyfriend and after all the business with him it used to make me really sad but it doesn't now. It is a beautiful song. I have said that about so many!! For some reason it always makes me want to write a story. Real inspiring! Just proves it's greatness even more!! I think it is a relationships one. This person was trying to steal someone off Matt and they succeeded but then Matt's friend (or whoever) realised what they had done and made up with Matt and everything. So Matt is saying to the person who tried to steal his friend "ha ha you failed that is what you get out of being horrible!" But not really spitefully jjst in a venge! |

Sick nick mondo!!!! Noooo!! How could you!!?? Anyway, Unintended is a beautiful song. I don't think it really has any hidden meanings it is just a love song, you take the lyrics as they say. I don't think it is an anti-marriage song though, cos he is saying "you could be my unintended joys" which could mean, like, he didn't really think he would ever love someone like her, but he doesn, and that is why she is his "unintended joys"! I never knew it was for his girlfriend though "silly me". That's cute! Lucky girl!! :-) |

I think that it is about wanting to dissappear. Like he has done something wrong or he is just generally fed up with the world and he is remembering his childhood (like someone else has said!) when he "usd to be so free". I thought this because of the last few lines "wash me away, clean your body of me....." and the title. Because erased, well, we all know what the words "citizen" and "erased" mean! I don't think this is necessariliy about anyone in the band though, it could just be this really emotioal song that they came up with when they had a good idea! |
