This excellent song is about having cheated on a girlfriend, confessing it and being overcome with a huge feeling of guilt. The women shiver in his arms, and he wishes her angry disappointed stares could cut right through him, kill him so he doesn't have to deal with the guilt. Of course Marty is too sensible to actually be advocating suicide. "A piece of the action at too great a cost" - his relationship that he "worked for" and "wanted to be so much more than this" is over. Marty is a lyrical genius. U ought to own this shit if u don't already. Its a shame that anth, the lead guitarist has quit, and marty has switched to guitar 'cause the nu vocalist Crafter (formerly of IKTPQ) makes the band sound sooo generic. If this nu line records I hope Crafter is banned from penning the lyrics |

Theories on what AD stands for: It could be Anno Domini, as in 2006 AD which is this year, while 2007 years ago it would of been 1BC (before christ). Not sure why this would be it. AD is also an acyonym for Alzheimer's Disease. This would make more sense - he wants to forget this woman. I thought is might also mean After Death, but not sure why |

I think Carpathians two releases (the self-titled EP and the full-length "Nothing to Lose") tend to have songs where the meaning are interconnected. Sorta like a concept album, but not quite. Notice here Marty sings about 'explosions for the first time'. THe next song on NTL is called Explosions. These songs are clearly about a relationship, but other ppl can say more about this... |

This sone is clearly about the older jader hardcore heads who think they are so much better than the teens and 20s kids into the shit now. |

Clearly this is about a greedy dude, someone obsessed with money. 'Bread' is slang for money. There are references to 'flithy money', 'gotta make a million', etc. Its kinda ironic that Metallica would cover this song since they are on of the richest bands in the world, and have a problem with . I just saw the movie 'Some Kind of Monster', and Lars was selling some of his art collection. Pieces were selling for a few million here and there. And he has a problem with people downloading a few free songs... |
