This song is freakishly addictive.. it's definitely one of my guilty pleasures.
And for those who are talking about how they're just flaunting their bodies.. the Pussycat Dolls is a burlesque dance group... that's what they do. I don't know specifics, but I think the original dancing group was a larger company, and I know that they used to feature celebrities like Carmen Electra and Christina Aguilera. And they're in the 2nd Charlie's Angels movie.
I'm not a big fan of the music group, but I really like "Buttons." I don't think it really objectifies women though--clearly the woman in this song has the upper hand. It's a nice spin on the usual "OMG DO ME" song. |

I absolutely love this song.. it's so sensual and sexy. It actually has substance.. it's not about a random hook-up--you can tell the singer has real passion for the person he's singing about. |

I agree with disenchanged_selly... the sexiest part is, by far, when he sings the chorus. It sounds even better on the live CD.
Maroon 5 has a way of highlighting the most sexual/sensual parts of their songs.. like the "as you wipe off beads of sweat.." part in this song and the "steal some cover/share some skin" in "Sunday Morning." They aren't too overt about it, so it makes it sound more personal and real versus cheesy and fake. |

I am as proud an anti-fratty person as they come, but I have to disagree with such mean, harsh criticisms of the Kappa Sigs who posted about this song. My boyfriend (who's not in a frat) told me a couple years ago that this song was about Pledging a Frat... and it really makes a lot of sense when you look at the lyrics. And yes, Frat guys' lives typically revolve around their Frats and brothers, but that doesn't mean that they automatically adapt everything they read or hear to their Frat. C'mon kids, give them *some* credit. ;) |

This is a really sexy song... his voice is mesmerizing and sincere.. but it sounds innocent and naughty at the same time.
I had never thought about it being about oral sex.. I guess it fits in, but I think it has more to do with a secret, intimate bond between two people. And if that bond includes oral sex, then that's fine with me. |
