I don't think the song has to do with any sort of "space cult."
I think it may simply be implying that we live like idiots on Earth. We hate each other, we kill each other, and we mutilate our animals. It's pretty straight forward that it's not aliens that are going to detroy our planet... "we are." |

Yes a very good interpretation, It's definitely about a long distance relationship, the only thing I have to add is when he says "Now open up wide, fist first down your throat
Where no beauty lies, and rip out what should've been mine." Doesnt mean she started cheating on him, but maybe just broke it off? All he's saying with that line is he's reaching down her thought(figuratively of course.) to take back what should have been his (In this case, her heart.) |

I'm thinking the same thing as Citystarz but i'm pretty sure it's still Alex, but he does sound a lot different. Honestly... the song is a bit dissapointing, or maybe it hasnt "grown" on me yet... but then again great songs should have to grow on you. |

So what I've come to conclude about this song is that it's an allusion to something new, represented by the robot, coming into an old style town... in this case lets say a big conglomerate(since he says "Youre retro career melted," so the big Wal-Mart, the robot, comes into this rural town to open up shop, it starts building and the people all come up and cant agree with what's going on any less, so they protest this machine and drive it out of town... into another town... where it's going to attempt the same thing. |

What's up with this song?? I can see the story i gues... robot comes in from bed of truck, says this shit to people, and then do people get killed AND the robot? or why is there flesh peices, and then what they just take it to a new town? and it re-assembles kinda like a cycle and it says the same shit again... but what does "Your Retro Career Melted" mean!? |

Ok wait, where does everyone get their information? Alot of it sounds like you could easily make this up. In the insert, like xtruetilldeathx said, in Junesong Provision you can find some of the lyrics for Hearshot Kid Disaster and it says "yo i wont fail you now" which just means the first 3 syllables are just jibberish or you need to come up with something new. because the 4 word or syllable of whatever he says is simply "Yo". |

I think system did a good job, with the metal they added to the song, and serj is not ONLY in the end, every time the chorus comes in, he is singing background. I also dont think serj is just howling at the end, he is saying something like "why must we kill *something*". |

More information has been leaked, or so i read on a different board www.soadonline.com, that this will be Systems fourth single from the Toxicity album, and shooting for the video began on the 22nd. Anyone else heard more about this? I think 4 singles is a alot for an album so fast also. |

I've been lurking for a while now, and just now decided to sign-up. If you guys check out the official Ozzfest, website, and click on a band name it gives you a little biography about that band. Click on Soad and in the first paragraph it states this, "Toxicity offers 14 brand new songs--all written by the group--that explore socio-political themes ("Prison Song"), serial killer Charles Manson's point-of-view on the environment ("ATWA"), cocaine-addled groupies ("Psycho")..." Now I dont know where they get their info, but official ozzfest site i think can be pretty reliable. In saying this song if about Mansons' view on the enviroment. |
