He says "they don't play me on the radio but that's the way I like it" in the last line of the second verse. |

What does thinking the song has to do with masturbation have to do with people liking songs because they're played on the radio? There was no connection there whatsoever, Dr. Octagon. |

Possible connection to "Everywhere With Helicopter"? Of course, GBV have had so many songs that they are bound to repeat lyrics in their songs:
I will try to fight them
I will let them nowhere to go
Try escape the pace
I'll say "God bless you"
Let me know |

| Guided by Voices – My Valuable Hunting Knife Lyrics

Maybe this is me just being overanalytical and/or crazy, but I think "my valuable hunting knife" is a sex toy of some sort. Or some non-human thing that gives pleasure to whoever's point-of-view this is from. Between the lines "She will shine like a new girl" and "And it will not lose its appeal over years", It's one of the few things that makes sense off the top of my head. |

I think the lyrics are fairly obvious - about acting like a different person in front of certain people. "Teenage FBI" references the typical teenager stereotype of being horribly judgemental based on one's clothes and actions. The line about cleaning out the hive confuses me though. |

Wow...I listened to this song for the first time all the way through just now (I used to skip this and stick with my favorite tracks - Laika, Haiti, Wake Up) and...it sent shivers down my spine. Just...brilliant. |

The first line is "Papa Legba on Adrenaline," not "how to up my adrenaline." And it is Bonnie Brown, not Bunny Brown. |

Based on some lines, I get the impression that it's a break up song. Cliche, yes, but look:
"I'm told the eventual downfall
is just a bill from the restaurant
You told me I could order the moon, babe
Just as long as as I shoot what I want. "
The breakup ("eventual downfall") is caused by something trivial ("just a bill from the restaurant").
"You traded me away long gone" obviously says "you dumped me."
and the line "Where have all sensations gone?" basically says "What happened to this relationship?" |

Did anyone catch the quote at the end of the song? You have to turn up the volume fairly high. It says, "Good night children...everywhere." |

I noticed a few mistakes in the lyrics. In the first chorus, it's not "just love me when"; it's "just remember me when". And instead of "the rest of the lines in everybody else's show", it is "The rest of it's fine and everybody knows." |

| Bright Eyes – Method Acting Lyrics

Um...jimmyp...what are you talking about? There are very many similarities between "Method" and "The Calendar". In fact, the only differences are really a slightly slower tempo for "Method", and if the Spanish sound was exchanged for folk. The melody in "Method" is very very similar to "The Calendar". Moreso, I don't see how Yoshiidino's comment was worthy of insult. I smell a troll... |

Supposedly, "chichando" means fucking, so that one line translates to "kissing and fucking with surfer Rosa." |
