to me, this song is simply about reaching a point in your life or achieving something that you imagined to be "continuous happiness" and realizing that it's not everythign you thought it was. ( "you know, i always imagined it something more" "this is not what i hoped for") instead of happiness there's feelings of pain and emptiness ("Is there something wrong with the heat? Why am I so cold? And my heart feels sick And it hurts when I speak") |
