Yes, this is a Blind Willie McTell song, and its misogynistic lyrics are not what Jack really believes in. I think they just covered it because both Jack and Meg have a passion for old folk and blues artists like Blind Willie McTell, and perhaps they were trying to make a statement on how women are treated today. |

The video is one of my favorites. My cousin and I figured that calling someone "my little windmill" is referring to that person giving blowjobs. I mean, clearly, the song is about his girlfriend. Apparently when he found the roses by the stairs he was so happy he got a boner. Anyway, this is a nice song.
