| Katatonia – The Longest Year Lyrics | 16 years ago |
One of my favorites off of Night is the New Day. Any luck deciphering any other lyrics from the album? |
| The Chronicles of Israfel – Laudanum Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Every song on this album is brilliant. Dominic Cifarelli is quite a genious. |
| Katatonia – Journey Through Pressure Lyrics | 17 years ago |
One of the saddest songs in existance. About feeling so, so alone. A feeling of absolute hopelessness, there is no other choice but to give up. "The process of trying to act unharmed, it will fade out" - there's no more hiding from the truth, the narrator has nothing left in his life and he has come to accept that, and what must happen. |
| Katatonia – Rusted Lyrics | 17 years ago |
The lyrics could be about many things. Could be about using drugs, going into that world of shame, and being numb. Could be about a suicide attempt. - "A rush through the rusted veins" I like how Jonas's lyrics are somewhat abstract, and open to interpretation. |
| Katatonia – Follower Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Absolutely about an abusive relationship with a father. The lyrics are very descriptive, you can really understand how the person being abused feels. |
| Emarosa – Epoch Coda Lyrics | 17 years ago |
The ending of this song gives me chills, so beautiful. "I can feel his hands as they pull me in" Gives me the image of someone literally being pulled into heaven after struggling through life, constantly giving and never getting anything in return, and watching the world decay from war and greed, all by the hand of mankind. |
| Jeremy Enigk – Canons Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Incredible song. Seems to be about somebody who is rushing through life, day by day. And is unable to take the time to enjoy it. |
| The Age of Rockets – The Day The Whole World Died Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| One of the greatest synth-pop, or whatever you wanna call them, groups I've ever heard. | |
| Kary – Madam Ruse Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I wish more people knew more about this pre-Wintersleep band. I'm from Yarmouth, where they originated. I assume it would be impossible to find anymore lyrics. |
| Alexisonfire – Rough Hands Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I think it's actually George singing the back up vocals in the chorus, believe it or not. Not Wade. Incredible song. |
| Underoath – To Whom It May Concern Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Incredible way to end the CD. So intense. | |
| Underoath – You're Ever So Inviting Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| It's about a struggle of some sort, I think. | |
| Underoath – You're Ever So Inviting Lyrics | 19 years ago |
These lyrics aren't actually totally correct. Oh well. Just read the booklet that comes with the CD, haha. |
| Underoath – Moving for the Sake of Motion Lyrics | 19 years ago |
What the heck happened here. No, these aren't the right lyrics. The right ones are currently under "A Moment Suspended in Time" |
| Underoath – A Moment Suspended in Time Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This is "Moving For The Sake Of Motion" | |
| Underoath – Casting Such a Thin Shadow Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Is this song actually called To Whom It May Concern? I think it might be. We'll find out for sure tomorrow I guess. |
| Underoath – Everyone Looks So Good From Here Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| It's so funny how we see things so clear when we have no time left to live. | |
| Underoath – Moving for the Sake of Motion Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Look under "Moving for the sake of motion" | |
| The Robot Explosion – Voice On Tape Lyrics | 19 years ago |

| Underoath – Everyone Looks So Good From Here Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| it's "So lay back down and take it in" | |
| The Panic Division – automatic synthetic Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I absolutely love The Panic Division. This song is one of their best. |
| Moneen – Seasons Fade... Fevers Rage... It's a Slow Decay Lyrics | 19 years ago |
The one song that Hippie sings the lead vocals, from the Red Tree. And a good one it is. Possible about the world ending in 10 years. |
| Moneen – Seasons Fade... Fevers Rage... It's a Slow Decay Lyrics | 19 years ago |
The one song that Hippie sings the lead vocals, from the Red Tree. And a good one it is. Possible about the world ending in 10 years. |
| Moneen – There Are a Million Reasons for Why This May Not Work... and Just One Good One for Why It Will Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Amazing song off The Red Tree. My personal favorite. I think it could be about standing by someone as a friend, but knowing in your heart that you want more than friendship, but the other person doesn't see that, |
| Lydia – Always Move Fast Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I'll add some more later. | |
| Lydia – A Camera Lens and Careful Days Lyrics | 20 years ago |
I'm a Lydia fan. This is a damn good song. "This December" might be my favorite album of the year. |
| Dallas Green – Sometimes (I Wish) Lyrics | 21 years ago |
Another opne of his sad songs. Love it. I love how he has cello and piano and things like that added to his newer stuff. |
| Dallas Green – Hello, I'm in Delaware Lyrics | 21 years ago |
I love the ending of this song. And yeah, pretty obvious meaning. Such a sad song, too. |
| Dallas Green – Casey's Song Lyrics | 21 years ago |
This song amazes me. Dallas amazes me. I'm a huge fan of all his stuff, but mainly his newest songs. |
| As I Lay Dying – Forever Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| The endof this song literally brings tears to my eyes because it's so intense. | |
| Alexisonfire – The Kennedy Curse Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| Nope. It also says "that's all you get fuckers" in the CD inlay jacket. | |
| Dallas Green – In The Water, I Am Beautiful Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| I wish he had an album out in stores. He is amazing. | |
| Alexisonfire – The Kennedy Curse Lyrics | 21 years ago |
The reason is says "That's all you get, fuckers" is 'cause the lyrics at the end are quite controversial, I believe. I think it says something about "When Kennedy hit the ground" |
| Blink-182 – I'm Lost Without You Lyrics | 21 years ago |
Since I first heard this song, I knew it was gonna mean something to me. It's the most moving, uplifting, and inspirational song I have ever heard. The meaning is simple. The title basically explains the whole thing, pretty much. I percieve it as the perfect love song, or the perfect teenage love song for sure. It's about openly addmitting for the first time that you're actually in love with a person. "Are you afraid of being alone? 'Cause I am" - When I first heard this line, I was amazed. I still think it's absolutely brilliant. Again, it's openly addmitting that you're litterally afraid to be without the person that means so much to you. I could say so much more about this song, and go through it line by line, but I think I'll just leave it at that. |
