this is my favorite song of all time... for some reason I always smile when I hear it.... If I had to disect it I would say its about remembering what could have been... perhaps.. if things had been different. You wake up from the wonderful dreams of your past love with tears in your eyes.. wether its about his drowned girlfriend, or someone he misses... I refect on it as my childhood... everything I could have been.. everything I have become. |

this song is obviously about people who are through with the chemical feeling associated behind the word "love".... In the song he mentions... I want a girl.... then later he says.... I want a boy.... By this he means.... anyone will do.. I just want a physical replacement for what used to be. he's heart broken over someone else... he replaces them... its so easy. |
