| Shinedown – Fly From The Inside Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| i saw him talking about it on this one place: so here is the official meaning: he said it was about, when he was making the album he needed a good song or something, so he had to make a song quickly or something like that, so he had to fly from the inside, get the song from inside of him, in a speed like flying, so its about getting something you need from inside of you..well i dont think thats entirely correct but thats more or less what i remember, if i find it again ill update | |
| Nirvana – Breed Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| I think, considering how fast the song goes, its him out of control, yelling, and all this pent up stuff inside of him comes out like he doesnt even care about breeding with, again, the mysterious "you". Another reason i think the song is all out of control is the line "I'm afraid, I'm afraid, I'm afraid, I'm afraid, 'fraid, ghost!", i mean hes basically saying that hes afraid (well duh). There might be another meaning in the line "I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, care, care if I'm sold", maybe something like about a girl not caring anymore, if she is a ho or something, and shes making herself not care with "I don't mind, I don't mind, I don't mind, I don't mind, mind, don't have a mind". And then she says "Get away, get away, get away, get away, 'way, 'way from your home", maybe the home is the place where they are sold? and then the line again, "I'm afraid, I'm afraid, I'm afraid, I'm afraid, 'fraid, ghost!", admitting that she is afraid. Anyway i think like all Nirvana songs this has a lot of meanings, and everybody can think what they want because i guess well never really know, now that kurt is dead. well just have to listen and enjoy | |

I think this song might be a kind of spiral downwards into insanity, because it starts with "I'm so happy 'cause today I've found my friends, they're in my head" and then after that there is "I'm so lonely, that's OK I shaved my head and I'm not sad" and then there is the whole part with him singing "I like it, I'm not gonna crack I miss you, I'm not gonna crack I love you, I'm not gonna crack I kill you, I'm not gonna crack" and then it repeats, so its kinda like hes telling himself hes not gonna crack, and all the mixed feelings about the mysterious "you", and also in the lyrics there are some things that just dont seem to make any sense, like "Sunday mornin' is every day For all I care and I'm not scared"..this has probly already been said somehow but im not reading the whole page. so yea, thats my opinion. |

| Nirvana – On a Plain Lyrics | 21 years ago |

I think it's about him getting high, and maybe some of those random phrases were induced from his, um, "highness?" and how getting high was his only escape from a bad life: "My mother died every night" and "The black sheep got blackmailed again Forgot to put on the zip code " |

| Nirvana – Polly Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| well, i dunnon about the part with the kidnapped girl and crap, i think he might have written it about how we abuse and imprison animals, like polly wants a cracker but they dont get food. i dunno bout the deeper meaning but thats just my little view about the obvious part | |
