This is quickly becoming my new favorite on Pretend Your Alive. I've been relating to it a lot lately. I think it's about feeling like all the bad things that happen are following you around, but it's still nice going through them with someone you love. I honestly don't think that there is a connection with hannibal lector.. He deffinitely has sex with the corpses of his family. So, "Los Angeles" means "The Angels" people also call it the 'City of Angels'. LA is also one of the biggest urban areas in the US. Dominated by Hollywood, a lot would call it a superficial city full of whores, tramps & 'souless' people. Hence the irony of the song. Calling it the City of Devils. I think the feeling he gets from the city in this song could be shared by anyone in any city when they've realized they've 'been here too long'.
