At least to me this song is about someone who is taking a break from having a significant other in their life. It's like this person is mellow and wants to take more time for self-reflection. My interpretation of the last part of the song is that this person doesn't feel "dead" inside, but rather very alive. They just want to coast along and wait instead of actively seeking someone out. I've been listening to this song a lot lately because this how I have been feeling lately. Just like this song, it feels really good. |

To me it's about a woman who has fallen for a man who doesn't care about her and treats her bad. She can't get away from him in her thoughts and her life and the other poeple in her life who care about her get in the way because they are trying to help. Then it dawns on me that this song might not even be about a romantic relationship with another person. It could also be about a battle with drug use or some other sort of negative behavior that causes problems in people's lives. |

Then he changed his mind and something happened between them and now it is going to be on his mind because he will feel guilty about it and she feels that she was wrong for comming onto him in the beginning. Ever notice how different people have different smiles? And how someone has different smiles for reactions/events? Well I have. So he has a special bond with someone and one of that person's smiles is just for him and that makes him happy. It reminds me of my boyfriend. (Sorry to start the mushy sappy crap everyone) He has a secret smile he gives only me and I know I probably have one for him too. I guess this song could be about oral sex or child molestation, both being very interesting. Where did you guys hear that I'm curious? But this is what the song means to me. |

| Yes, Grunger is right, he did kill himself. Did anyone else read any bio or even his journal (which is now available)? Even as a young child, he never felt good enough. He was a talented artist and got so much approval from everyone, but he continued to think that it was worthless. After feeling that way for an entire lifetime, it's only logical that he took his own life. Thank you. | |
