I absolutely love how he isn't really singing in parts of it... he's talking really... to the fans. Cause they must be afriad of becoming sell outs or w/e. Thats just what i get from listening to it. |

I always tell people I am feeling grey when I am sad. Usually blue or black is marked as depression but i really think that grey expresses it perfectly... espcially if you are on meds and you are just numb. I heard this song and it almost startled me to see that someone else got it. another thing... I always think of ways to change the lyrics or add to them to suit my life or something... I thought of this: ani's: "maybe some tiny shiny key will wash up on the shore" me: and holding the key to you I'll hunger no more so maybe its not about the person not being what she expected... maybe they weren't completely there, not giving everyhting they had. but its just a thought.
