I think this song was written about the most jaded person in the world, at the time. Definitely the best song ever, if it's the only dinosaur jr. song that's ever been heard. If i had people to talk about my problems with I wouldn't, but if I did I would hope they felt nothing afterwards. You don't make your problem someone else's' by talking about it? maybe? |

It's a great song. It's about starvation (many kinds) and jobs in the service industry to me. I agree with Madcappunk. I think in this techonology driven world we have to pace and regulate the momentum that hurls us into the future, and maybe Graffin is just commenting on and pepping his listeners on survival. But come on, Greg Gaffin is in misery? I doubt that. cool song, awesome cd. Sadly, my nerves are too fried to listen to BR anymore. |

This is truly a great song and one of my all time faves. I guess the vocal phrasing of it tops and pulls you in more than the average rock song. I don't know what the song is about, but it is strange. |
