Someone mentioned police vodes...10-105 is robbery...I can see how robbery would fit in here...the man got caught in the middle of a robber trying to make his escaped and so the robber shot him. The only thing is, what robber, making a getaway, would stop to shoot six times? And I don't think the song is about Lennon and Yoko...she was right next to him when he was shot. Personally though I interpret the song to be somewhere right on the borded of the "Wild West" - where there's still outlaws and robberies, but there's also a nice forest. |

Hahah you're all arguing on an internet lyric site. I don't really know what this song is supposed to be about because...I didn't write it...but it reminds me of Berlin, Germany after the building of the Berlin Wall. |

| This is one of the most amazing songs in anime today, I'd have to say. To me it sort of represents that time when you really can't ignore the past, and you can't ignore the imminent future, and you just have to do something about it. | |

| Why does it have to mean ONE THING AND ONE THING ONLY to you people? XD;; Why can't it mean different things to different people? | |

| This is one of a handful of country songs I just plain love, and it gives me a lot of inspiration. | |

| Whether it's just words that sound good thrown together or something with a different meaning, it's still one of the best sex songs out there IMO. | |

Hey Thauglor. You proved yourself wrong with your own argument. "You have me" and "You have asked me" are two different types of sentences. "You have me" is present tense, "You have asked me" is past tense, so any double meaning applied to the phrase "Du hast mich" may NOT apply to "Du hast mich gefragt". Furthermore, any double meaning applied to one word in one line of a song, does not necessarily have to be applied to the next time that word is repeated. A song's meaning does not have to be about correct grammar and spelling and meaning. I think a lot of character is added to this song by the written meaning of "You have..." and the fact that the spoken/sung meaning can sound like either "You have" or "you hate". If you don't understand my point, try it in English, say "Your pail" out loud. It can be heard as "Your pail", as in the pail that belongs to you, or it can be "You're pale", as in, your complexion is very light. |

This song has a lot of personal meaning to me. My boyfriend and I live a few hours apart, and so I have to drive down there. (he doesn't have his license yet...) I usually stay two or three days, and I've always gone down on the weekend. Well, we've had a trend of arguing once a week, usually right after my visit. (it sounds worse than it is) So when we don't argue for a week it's a little odd. The funny thing is, every trip down and every trip home I hear this song on the radio. |
