This song rocks, the vid is pretty cool too. In the vid, Davey deosnt have barely any tattis visible which is kinda weird.
This song alone almost solely pointed in the direction they were going for their next album (Black Sails) I think song could be put on Black Sails and nobody would even know. This and Keeping Out of Direct Sunlight. Either way, both albums fucking rock. |

Still one of my fav. intros to any cd. I love Daveys shut your mouth/Black Sails lyrical themes. He fucking rocks and so deos the whole band for that matter. I find it odd though that the old bass and guitar players kinda just fell off the face of the earth or something. OH well. Jade and Hunter rock too. |

Ok I am so sick of this AFI sold out shit I mean its been set straight a million times. Given this is the worst AFI song EVER!!!!!! Yes but still they have infact just went up a few levels of complexity and are still and have been for about 5-6 yrs now my fav band. Nothing will change that. I think its awesome that they have done so well for themselves. |

OK Its time for me to speak up about something that really pisses me off. All these kids that have "been listening to AFI since the begining" and "hate AFI cuz they sold out" really piss me off. #1 I dont even know what the truye meaning of "sold out" means. Second of all this album is the most technical album they have released to date. Yes it has some songs that seem to be getting radio play and they I dont like seeing that but I think its amazing that a band that "ive listend to from the beginning" got their chance and we all got to witness them rise from ashes and blossom into what they are today. Thei next album is goona kick ass, hopefully with alot more of davey screaming. |
