Arcade Fire – My Body Is a Cage Lyrics

I really think this song is about someone depressed or completely lacks self confidence (think "avoidant personality disorder"). It just sounds like someone who cannot initiate relationships or friendships because of severe social inhibition. As a result, the body is a cage, but the mind holds the key to being disinhibited. I would go into more detail, but I'm busy... |

Noone's said anything about this song, it's awesome. Anyways, I think it's about deadbeat parents who do drugs too. |

"Maybe I'm the faggot America, I'm not a part of a redneck agenda." I love that line. The song's pretty obvioius what it's about. |

I'll tell you an awesome beatles covers. MxPx - I Saw Here Standing There
Anyways, I love this song too. I don't know or I'm not sure who sings it. I think (only think John did) but it seems like a bit like "George" song. Anyone have a link or evidence as to who sings it?
I think the song is just about a bunch of Hindu stuff (for lack of a better term) involving meditation where everything is pure and calm. But that's a rough interpretation. |

Does the video remind anyone of the cover of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band? I love the song and the video and the fact it reminds me of the Beatles only makes me love it more.
I think it's just about things looking bad and turning out okay. Or just simply about nothing is really truly bad. |
