Hoobastank – Pieces Lyrics 21 years ago
Short and sweet: I think the song is about knowing you've done a lot of wrongs, and have gotten yourself stuck in a hole because of it. However, you're willing to put that stuff behind you, learn from your mistakes, and trying to live a decent life, never giving up if you hit a pothole.

Hoobastank – Out of Control (feat. Ian Watkins & Jamie Oliver) Lyrics 21 years ago
In my view, I see this song as a teenager, cracking from all of the pressure being put on him/her. A lot of people are expecting things of him/her, and he/she's confused on who to listen to, and who to ignore.

System of a Down – Toxicity Lyrics 21 years ago
Haha...well, when I first heard it, and I was completely naive to the likes of SOAD, I thought they were creating it for the Matrix. However now, a huge fan of SOAD and looking into the song, I think it has to do with the government and society. The government is trying to keep us ignorant, but all they're doing is creating and trying to rule disorder and chaos. We sit around, becoming confused with our beliefs and have nothing to do but lounge around. (Eating seeds as a past time activity.) Also, Lloyd has something going with the whole 'Toxic City' idea. However, I think if Toxic City comes into play, then it would be referring to many various towns, not just LA.

System of a Down – Boom! Lyrics 21 years ago
I think this song is basically about how there are more important issues in the world than creating missles, bombs, and other forms of weaponry for war. There are other problems, such as starvation (4000 hungry children leave us per hour from starvation while billions are spent on bombs) and everything in our world is becoming fake...and all our worries are becoming materialistic. ( Where all your money's earning Where all your buildings crying
And clueless neckties working Revolving fake lawn houses)
