This song, as many people have already stated is about Syd. One thing that i have yet to see mentioned is why Syd did the heavy drugs that he did. When he was in his teens his only role model and mentor died. It haunted him for the rest of his life and tore him up on the inside so he turned to drugs for escape. |

I love this song. my dad introduced it to me when we were cleaning the basement and stumbled on a bunch of his old records and that was long befor i started watching csi. what makes me sad about all this is when some ignoramice hears it the say "hey isnt that the theme song to CSI" when its much more than that. and know some new artist has taken the fame just for singing "Behind Blue Eyes" We need to let to world know who The Who were. |

Bobsaget666 dont be a dumbass the album was released in 1973 and the movie came out in 1982 chew on that smarts. if anything the movie is nothing more than a kickass music video which opens the world to the life and pain of Roger Waters. he obviously misses his father so he wrote songs about it. |
