supposedly, a relationship (i dunno if the irish superstar by stingray 11 is true, nice story tho) that broke up because he tried to explain his heroin addiction. sounds like self harm but dont think hes done that, at least not apart from the shooting crack etc sense. it is beautiful. moves me every time. so underated in the shadow of under the bridge. He wont show his real feelings cos he tried to but she got scared. shes goneaway cos he told her and now hes fucked up. but he will carry on until she takes him back or till he dies. sumfin like that. made me cry wen i heard it live. bit of an elaboration on Jon vicious ideas. :-) |

my personal interpretation of the song was based like a lot of songs by relating my own feelings to the words. to me its about a relationship thats gone wrong. he's desperately trying to win her but she treats him like dirt cos thats the sort of person she is, and hes to much of a dedicated guy to realise. poor little me hey? lol no matter how much hes there for her and it hurts him to see her like that, she just ignores him and hurts him |
