Wow you're stupid. I hate people like you who deny that any beatles (or any other 60's band for that matter) were writing songs about/influenced by drugs. LSD was completely legal in the 60's and helped create thier music. Acid lets your mind flow with ideas you never could have imagined sober, allowing new and better ideas. Throw away your beatle albums if you don't like drugs because without them the music would be completely different and dare I say it, not as good.
And Yes, Lennon DID do heroin, he just managed to hide his addiction for a while so close minded anti-drug idiots like you wouldn't be obsessing over it 24/7. And heroin could be seen as his later self destructive version of strawberry fields (takes away his troubles), even though I previously never interpreted it that way. |

Great song, everyone's got the meaning down. Oh and Kurt did kill himself, the overdose thing is the most retarded thiing I have ever herd and makes NO SENSE! Kurt did heroin alot right...Tolerance for opiates builds up quick therefore requiring you to take higher doses to get high while also increasing the amount you have to take to die. I do morphine alot and some of my friends take about 300 mg which would KILL me and I have a high tolerance. So stop with the murder bullshit. |

It was one of the best sounding things I have ever listened to..I just now found it agian and with the band name (I found it on some trippy flash video...which pretty much goes with the meaning) And well...I think I'll be checking out more of this band they seem really good...
Oh, and to the people who are bashing fight club: Your fucking stupid, just because someone found this song somewhere other than a radio(I personally refuse to listen to the radio, because most of the music played on it sucks) or the internet doesn't mean anything. Am I the only person who sees this as a drug song..?
The whole song has refrences to things that drug users experience like "Its just a matter of time untill were all found out"..Drug users know theyll eventually get caught.As they grow up, the go further down into addiction and they'd do anything to stop.
And the next line seems to be about millions of people are diagnosed with a sickness called sadness and ADD (which are not real sicknesses) by thier therapists making them the best boys, having almost no flaws. The next line talks about the chemists who made anti depressants telling people not to believe that the medicene isn't needed because theyll keep giving them the medicene if they'll keep believing it makes them perfect.
I can't really explain what i feel about the next line...just that eventual the parents of the kids quit giving them the medicene because it takes the fun out of them. But then they have withdrawls from the medicene because they were codemned from the start of it...
