| The Black Eyed Peas – Don't Phunk With My Heart Lyrics

I agree with most of the people who have put there two cents in about it. I myself have been hurt a lot and have a guy now who is always telling me he is the one and he is not going to dis me like I was before. and things like why don't I get it! I did not know however that they cleaned up the song which seems to make NO sense to me whatsoever! who is working over there in music land and making those choices? I am going to go buy the cd and enjoy the lyrics the black eyed peas intended for us to enjoy and sing along with.
and no p.s I never claim my boy will cheat on me, just he seems to good to be true but in three months and shown he is, I love the song! |

It's an autobiography. Syd was especially good at knowing just what was happening to him and how it will effect him. |

I don't think Black Sabbath wrote satanistic songs. Didn't you know they were always having problems with those kinds of people. One was going to kill Tony. |

Niether. They don't like this song at all. It's a cover that either their manager or the record company felt would liven up one of their albums. I believe it was the first one. |

If Ozzy said it was their punk song then I'd have to kind of agree with EvilLawyer and Satans Angel.
In my opinion it's protest song. It's the Cold War/Vietnam era and plebty of people were afraid that the world superpowers would exchange atomic fire. Black Sabbath is telling the kids (the future) to stand up and protest! Protest at what their elders have done in creating war and high tensions. And that if something wasn't done soon it might be to late because you might not even wake up. |

Since my last comment I've tried some of the worlds many vices. This song is awesome as hell when your 'having a laugh'. There I'll be for at least an hour listening to this awesome track. It's great with my surround sound and glow in the dark stars. |

| Black Sabbath – Symptom of the Universe Lyrics

I think it's about birth.
"...calling me back to her silver womb..."
Doesn't want to leave the warmth of a mothers womb.
"Father of creation takes me from my stolen tomb" It's time for him to be born and since the father of creation made everything, he decides (basically) it's time.
"Seventh night...unicorn waiting in the skies.." Maybe one of those motorized carousel things hanging above cribs..I don't know.
"Take my hand..." (Third chorus) The mother is so happy about her newborn child.
"..Child of loves creation..." Lovers create babies...
"Symptom of the Universe a love that never dies." Most women get that feeling it's time to make a child, which would be the symptom, and after theve done it, they love what hey produce.
At least thats what I think it is about. Any thoughts? |

John Paul always looks upset, especially when on the keyboards. I don't know what this songs about, other then what has been said. It's just a cool song. When I was in Seattle we saw a Heart soundcheck and they played this song. |

Actually in the live version (Madison Square Garden I believe) it sounds like he says something ball...Also he does change the age to four years old in that show. And in some of the other footage I've seen, the keyboard as a telephone on it. I always wondered why. |

I'm not gonna read 200+ posts to see if this has been said yet. It's about the satanic messages. Someone way up top (one of the first posts) said it was backmasking, well it isn't. 'Penguin11 is right, in the fact they never ment it. It's an interesting thing called reverse speech. Go to reversespeech.com if you want to get what I mean. Anyways, I think this song is about how everyone has to choices in life...but I don't know for sure... And like somebody up top said, Plant said he hated this song. I don't know for sure, but on the DVD he doesn't seem to be into it. But Page does! |

Also, Stairway to Heaven is awesome (Listen to it in reverse...he..he..he), but everytime I here a different recording he sings it different.. |

When Black Sabbath made this song they were worried it sounded to much like Led Zeppelin (A group they were inspired by) but nobody seemed to care. I have herd the Led Zeppelin song people refere to and indeed the two main riffs sound very simular. Oh well, this is one of my favorites. |
