"Internal primates forever" - despite we're humans as we developed from monkeys (Darwin said that) we've got much in common. We are still controlled by animal desire (Freud said that). "Internal primates forever" means we are all monkeys under our skin although many of us never realize that simple fact. Desire can be as well drug but I wouldn't go so far to reduce "Internal primates forever" lyrics to that. Right, so I'd like to say just one thing: you are mostly too young to think deeper about the thing and it doesn't have to be just MuDvAyNe lyrics... sure Sókrates from Athens (not me) would become handy in your case.... Wah ! It took me for about 1.5 hours (huh, Eng. is not my primal language ya know) to get through all 152 comments posted so far and I gotta say I felt sometimes very amused, sometimes very and I MEAN V-E-R-Y devastated. I don't know if people who put their comments up more than a few months ago would ever read this but I'd just like 2 say that the LAST 1.5 hour reading kinda scared me... in the way people (yacantfademe, REDRUM158) eventually left me feel more sure about the PEOPLE=SHIT beyond-lyrics-message. Because people who aren't able 2 respect the others and the term 'tolerance' means simply nothing to them I consider (without poring over it too long) the pure SHIT... Was it just an accident or do I associate the things that can't be associated ? U know that was the proof that they just weren't right about how SlipkNoT lyrics are all about nuttin at all / this (how the 2 guys acted) convinced me SlipkNoT were absolutely right in something ;) Well, to make some kind of ending I would say: yeah, PEOPLE equal SHIT, but only some of them (those lacking in their intellect or even absenting it). I suppose it doesn't have to be necessarilly about the relation between two people. Maybe just pure surviving our lives in this society "all used and beaten up". There're many things that hurt us everyday but "we will make it through somehow". We are lead by politicians we personally voted, by fucking commercials we merely want to watch and then blindly follow, we gotta listen to pop bands that sound all the same. This mass control policy prevails. It's not Orwell's "1984" catastrophical utopia, it's not that somber it that's the way it is. And people like it. Anyway some individuals awoken like Trent find this out and deal with it. But he's optimistic IMHO - "none of them can stop us now". We will make it (through somehow).
