This song just means basically what everyone else is saying.. running away from problems. Running away from things you can't control or change. At least that's what I think because whenever I'm in a situation like that I think of this song.. because instead of admitting that everything is going out of control.. it's just easier to run away from it. |

I know that P.O.D. is like a Christian band or whatever.. but I never see these songs as being related to "God". I guess that's because I don't believe in "God" but I do have to say they are great and I really like a lot of their songs.. but most of them just sounds like my life. Like this song reminds me of some certain person that's in my life right now. |

I do not believe this song is about "God".. because there is no "God". I do believe, however, that is can be about someone you care about. You can care about someone that much and NOT be obsessed with them. The person this song reminds me of.. I was not obsessed with him.. he was just a very good friend that I developed feelings for. So I believe that this song could be about someone you care about.. and you don't have to be obsessed to feel that way. |

I have to say that this song means a lot to me. More than probably any other song by any other person/band/group/etc. This is because when it came out I listened to it everyday. I mean it was the one song that absolutly made me think that it is possible for someone to love me. Then a few years later (meaning last year) this guy that I really cared about.. I mean I cared more for him than I've ever cared for anyone else.. told me that was exactly how it was.. that he'd be there for me no matter what. Even now that song still never gets old because it makes me remember that it is, in fact, possible for someone to care about me. |

I LOVE this song. I relate to it because it reminds me of me and someone I really really care a lot about. He doesn't care about me and he's always talking about wanting to leave, and I wish that he just would. I mean if you listen to that song.. you could pretty much just understand it all. This is the only song I've ever heard by The Cranberries but I love this song. Just by hearing this song I say The Cranberries are great! This song to me is about war. Perhaps war between nations or perhaps the war that rages on inside of people. I see it as a war that rages on inside of people, inside of myself. Of course everyone has their own opinions and could possibly argue with me. That's just my idea, though. However this song is wonderful. |
