Were it any other band, I could probably make a case that this song was making a good point AGAINST this kind of attitude, given that Destiny's Child wasn't really known for being a bunch of gangbanging trollops and the fact that the "man of the hood" (Lil Wayne) sounds like a mealymouthed twit that stutters out his lines. It's an interesting juxtaposition. Then I realize that it's ridiculous to give DC credit for possibly being that clever. |
