Great track, please be a single, pleeeeeeease! i think this one is simply about a break up, and that they could have been so much more together, but now she has gone, he hurts, but he will get over it!! he really did care for her, but if she wants to break up, and you have to wonder how much she cared for him, then he can't do anything about it. He doesn't want her coming back saying it was a mistake, lets get back together, as he doesn't want to fall for her again! |

i think in the first verse it is infact Why do you laugh When I know you hurt inside? it is a catchy song, likely to be a single, they are spoilt for choice single wise on this album! i can see this one being amazing on the festival scene! as for the song, the relationship is on the decline, the lovers have come to the point where they have to decide whether to carry on together, or to their own seperate ways! as a result, the lonely sole bit, could either mean that she has no feelings for him, and is taking him for a ride, just having fun and not reall caring! however it could be the spiteful thing someone would say if you just break up with someone and then u see them out with another bloke, acting as if you were never part of your life! i think! lol |

sooo much better than the O2 Wireless arrangement with Rufus Wainwright, it is just better with just Tom's high voice! however, i think an "acoustic" arrangment, similar to This is The Last Time was done, would make this song one of the best ever!! |

Possibly the strongest song on the album apart from Leaving So Soon and Try Again! the meaning seems to have been covered by the above posts, the fact he's looking back at a time when he was with someone, and now that it is over, it hurts him so much, he hopes it is just a bad dream, but you get the feeling it won't be! |

I really have high hopes for this scoring highly in the charts as Is It Any Wonder did! sooooooooo catchy, then again i wanted Can't Stop Now to be a single! Quite simply it is about a person who has lost the one they love, they still obvisously crave them, but they have to get on with their lives, and Put it Behind them! |

The comeback song for Athlete off their new album Tourist. It has quite a melancholic feel to it, however the song is full of hope, and i think is actually about the lead singers baby which was born and had to recieve quick medical attention, until later returned to their parents fine. i think this could be the year of the athlete! |

i think the last four lines are wrong, are they not "The motion keeps my heart running" but this is a great song, my personal favourite song and is simply about someone who had said they would always be there for someone, but now their own troubles have become such that they have to move on, and leave them behind! |
