And for you guys arguing if Green day is punk or not... Why don't you go kick yourself in the but or something, arguing if a band is punk or not is the moast dorky thing you could do!, What do you wanna prove with it? Really it doesn't change the music at all and green day will keep playing the same stuff even though you call them Alt rock or what ever.. Grow up! |

Hell no, the last part doesn't ruin the song! Acctualy it's a good part, becaus that's the way it goes when some people wants more, some gotta lose, and in this song, helen is the one loosing big time.. That's whats gonna happen in america, Rich people wants to get richer and richer, while the middle class looses on that.. And this song explains it in a good way, Acctualy Michael Moore's book Stupid white men is about all this and i'm pretty sure Fat mike has read it a couple of times |

i think this song is pretty much self explaining, OD'd as we all know is an overdose of drugs, he just got lost in the moment, assholes like to test the limit.. and to mattschick07 i don't think the lyric is wrong.. caus when you buy the record 'war on errorism' that litle book with lyrics and stuff that come along doesn't say the lyrics right.. That's just fat mikes way of doing it, changing the lyrics here and there to make it easyer to understand what the song is about |

i like this song, kinda reminds me about the matrix movies : ) .. and it's By the band Craig's brother... not Lagwagon and Nofx.. but for somereason people at the downloading programs change the name of the artist to the song, but nofx and lagwagon didn't do a cover (but it would be cool if they did ; ) |

i think decline and thankgoditsmonday's right... english isn't my mothers thoung but when i looked up Diaphragm i suposed it has something to do with sex (?), but it's hardly used so the relationshpit can't be that good.. at first i didn't think the song was that deep.. but now i can almoast se it when i close my eyes, the children is playing in the yard, and the mother just stairing to the wall, she know's that he's lying about why he's beeing late, she don't want that life so she shots herself..sad |

If any one of you ever went to a site called Aliens-exist.net you would'v know that this song isn't about gwen stefani.. Cau's they'v got a section with explanasion to moast of their songs, mark made a comment about it there, it was about an old girlfriend he had wich used some Appel smelling shampoo.. "The candel's burning at both ends" , that's an old expresion refering to the old monks in england, wich used candels to light up the church at night, when the candel didn't give enough light they broke it of and "burned it at both ends", wich gave more light but the candel would burn up much quicker.. and may i pleas beg you to stay in the subject and write a litle more than just "good song" "good song" "nice song" etc. |

To me this song is: ... You shouldn't call him 'White', and as i would imagine it's some black guy saying like "hey white boy, don't come here and tell us niggers about us being more stupid like you" .. just becaus your white doesn't mean your a racist.. also by calling him white you make up a border and telling eveyone "we don't have anything incommon".. just try to see us all as human beings instead! |
