okay, let this be the last comment about the common misconception about what the man says. he simply says "and buy a bucket full of diamonds but.." To those of u who are just so stuck on the LOVE word being thrown in there, ur only hearing what u WANT to hear. Dont predict what he'sgoing to say, sit down with the REAL lyrics, listen to the guy.. and THATS what he says. bucket full of diamonds.. say this aloud to urself: full of... fullove... full of... fullove... same damned sound.

this song. wow. The words really grab me.. they're full of passion and desparation, yet, still yell "i give up!" It kind of makes me wonder if thats how my b/f thinks... cuz I am always busy... aww man... now i feel bad. hmm.. anywho, yes i am officially in LOVE with dashboard cuz he speaks from his heart, and u can tell by the way the words come out. If you could hook a speaker up to ur heart, his songs are exactly what u'd hear. its just that simple. LOVE it. the end. |

oh i thought this is where we say what we thought about the song.. not how much we want the singer's nuts... lol but oh well.
This song talks of a person who is in a relationship, but not appreciated... their "significant other" is just waiting for something better to come, but until then "well, i guess u'll do." But he's tired of it, and hes not going to sit there and get walked all over anymore... even tho its hard, he's finally leaving. Sounds like a good game plan... makes me think of my relationships. |
