I always thought that this song was about how the press and the news will steal everything from someone. I thought it was about how nosey the reporters are and how they'll stop at nothing to hack into someone's private life.
I thought that the general message was "Nothing is sacred" I quote "they stole the love from our lives and put the sex on the radio. " Sex is supposed to be a sacred thing but the press is exploiting it. I thought that was what the song was about but I was wrong. I saw his interview on Thursday's site and it was completely different. |

First song I ever heard by them. It was so incredible. I listened to it over and over and I couldn't get to sleep for a few nights because I was thinking about it. The bridge is, lyrically, the best thing ever written. |

I hate people who look down on Thursday because they write sogns involving suicide. People always go "I hate Thursday! They promote suicide!" If those people would actually listen to teh message, they would understand that Thursday fights suicide rather than promotes it. They write about suicide because they've experienced it. That's one of the things I like most about Thurtsday. There are all these bands who write shitty songs about things that they've never experienced, like telling the story of two lovers or something, but then there's Thursday who write about their own experiences. All of their lyrics are so...real. That's what I like about them. |
