i actually read an interview where karen explained the meaning of this song: she wrote it when she was dating the lead singer of The Liars, about when he would go on tour and she would be waiting to see him again.. "wait, they [the fans he would be playing for on tour] don't love you like i love you".. saying i love you more, you should be here with me. apparently they signed to a major label so that people could hear this song, because she was so proud of it. & one of the band's best friends directed the video (his first). |
