i must agree this song is extremely powerful in it's lyrics ad so rich in it's meaning, I am a fan of jack johnson, though i don't see him as a genius but a clever man with a good head on his shoulders, he is obviously well educated and it's really inspiring that he chose to write about something that is so under the radar, the way that he presents this issue is clever in that it lingures in our minds and hopefully we as his audience can learn to make a change no matter wht size in our society for the better. |

sketches is my favourite album, and this song always brings a smile to my face no matter how many times i hear it. Everything i wanna say is either cliche` or it' alreay been said but this song is ace..makes me wander what he was thinking when he wrote it, it's probably pretty obvious.....I love jeff-so sexy. |

this song is different to Jeff's others, it's not quizzical like so many of his others, I still love the song though, he emphasises so strongly in his vocals which makes the whole thing so much more believable and colourful, everything about it really touches me, even if it is 'cheesey' and 'lovey' it'll always be a favourite. |

words cannot describe how special this song is.My heart wants to fly when i hear it and i just want to sing and dance and cry all at once.Jeff Buckley was born with a gift and the world was fortunate to have such a beauty. Leonard Cohen wrote the most beautiful song ever written, but when Jeff sang it, it evolved into something more.
Everyone seems to have similar yet different views on the song...let it mean what it does to you personally, rather than changing your view to what someone else believes...
~then it will mean so much more if you can work it out.

this song is so nice...like everything Jeff. All of his stuff was kind of before my time, so it's a real shame that I couldn't have the appreciation for him then, that I do now. He's just the greatest musician of all time. As for this song, it's defianantly a personal favourite. I feel asthough he's singing that third verse just to me! |

this song is special like every other jeff buckley song out there, for all the fans who haven't had the pleasure of listening to the Grace EP'S the sooner the better. The live version of this song from 'Live from the Bataclan' is just surreal. the song creates a whole atmosphere...the best...Jeff works his magic yet again. |
