I don't know if anyone has made this connection, but i believe the line "take these hands, throw them in the river" comes from a song title by a post-rock group called A Silver Mount Zion. I've been a Thursday fan forever and didn't know this until i was checking out ASMZ - still confused on the meaning |

can't belive theres no posts yet for this song. this is a great slower and less heavy atreyu song with amazing lyrics and not to mention amazing guitar work. i think the lyrics are pretty self-explanitory but i believe this song is about the fear of what may come after death, the fear of wondering what happens to your soul and wondering if anyone at all will ever remember you. |

a few months back i saw these guys live and when the singer introduced this song he said it was about a friend of his dealing with suicide...he said that the outcome to what happens in the story is up to you |
