Um...this song makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. The Beastie Boys probably just opened up a dictionary to a random page, picked a word, and thought up another word that rhymes with that word. I mean, however how close you try to pay attention to the lyrics, it makes no sense! And, to the Beastie Boys, their tieup to that is "Check-ch-check-check-check-check it out!"???????? And I thought they were the coolest thing ever when I first heard "Fight For Your Right". Not that there's anything wrong with the beat or rhythm. THAT SHIT'S COOL!!! It just needs a major touchup on lyrics, okay? |

Well, I have no idea why this song is one of the most pondered over, because the meaning of the song is totally obvious: this song is sung by a guy who is saying sorry to a girl he probably lied to and/or cheated on a couple times. It's only obvious! |

This song would have to be another song, following "Don't Worry, Be Happy" and "I'll Be There For You", where the basic theme is, you know, turn a frown upside down, but, also like those two songs, in a very annoying and...well...unsatisfying way... |
