Ok so this song is clearly talking about trying to find God and quitting the search because of laziness and turning to satan in an extreme way...its ok to relate this song to a relationship or whatever but is stupid no to see that it is clearly about God and satan... this is just a comment not to piss anyone or start controversy or whatever...Someone told me one dya that an intelectual that I dont remember who it was (not that it really matters) said once that If someone's looking for something its beacuse that something really exist, if not there wouldnt be that urge for the search...So anyways it is ok if people have different points of view about religion or the meaning of life, but we should be careful of what we "preach" or joke about cause joke or not you turn people to belive in things that are sometimes not right by claming to see things clearly when you really know you're not(for both christians and atheists)... From my point they might be joking about the satan and whatever but I really belive he does exist and push people to do this type of things...I did search for God and found him, it took me time but I did...and he also is always around...If you wanna quit on him to live a life "Being selfish, and drunken, and vulgar, and lazy..."go ahead but dont carry people into it...cause only you will bear consecuences... im serious this is just a tought... |

| I think claudio04 its in part right..its not about Al cause he died already...it has to definetly do with jesse and her daughter...what really confuses me o r make me think is the part that says "if you get put to sleep, like an old dog you're better off if you get put to sleep"...I'm not really sure who's talking at this point...but he/she it's talking to a dog..and in a site I read that Apollo its Cambrias/Newo dog so I guess that last line that its not sang "my dearest apollo I'll be burning star 4" could have to do with this theory... I dunno I've been trying to disipher this so if anyone can clear this up for me it would b great...I'm really confused about this character Apollo cause him being a dog I cans atrt to relate the importance of him in the story...being that the next "chapter" has his name...so haha Im confused! My interpretation: this song talks about remembering something that makes you happy or that u consider an important time in your life while going trough rough times...in this case a loved one. remebering a love back when he was young and thins were good......just beautiful! | |

| This is surely a more difficult to digest record. It's truly different to any older stuff, even when they did made a big change from TBC to SWYA. The first time I heard it It was a total let down, but after 2 or 3 listens I must admit this album got me....This is the best song of the album and I don't thing chris voice laks emotion, I just think the emotion is focused in different directions now.
