@[rjb80:3628] Just a couple corrections: "Nitrous hit" is referring to nitrous oxide used as a drug, not street racing. And Ritalin is a stimulant which is commonly abused. It just seems like a stretch to me that they would mention Ritalin in reference to Lumpy dying in his sleep just because it is occasionally used to treat sleep disorders, when every other artist is mentioned in conjunction with an abused substance, and the lyrics themselves say straight up that the song is about artists with substance abuse problems. Also, it's incredibly likely that at least one of the members of NOFX was friends with Brad Nowell. |

i agree that it says "a gaze apart", because "gaze" ties in with the "dead lover's eyes". and what would "case and point with dead lover's eyes" mean anyway? it definitely says "gaze". mass destruction...is response to your grammar lesson, STIFFNECK had it right the first time. it's referring to ONE "lover" and her eyes. "lovers" would mean we were talking about more than one "lover" and the other lyrics clearly suggest that theres only one person. you should make sure you know what you're talking about before you try to belittle people in the future:-) |
