Marduk – Panzer Division Marduk Lyrics	20 years ago
There's a pattern of WWII-referencing in a lot of Marduk's music. But, for this song, the Panzers were a division of the Schutzstaffel - the SS - during WWII. As I'm sure we all know, Hitler's Protective Corps were quite powerful. I agree with kaoruchan100, while adding my two cents on the matter.

Nine Inch Nails – The Hand That Feeds Lyrics

You know, bands like NIN never do seem to want to elaborate on what in the hell their songs mean, but I guess it just adds to the fun of it. I haven't read all five pages of this, and I don't really mean to, either, but I have something of an idea. In my Revolver article, it said that this was one of Trent's most honest albums, and he made it when he was sobered up. This song might be addressing himself. You know, asking himself how deep he believes and so on and so on. I could be wrong. There're a few points that don't make absolute sense. In fact, in all probability, I am wrong, but we may never know o_o;

I think the-orange-i-choked summed it up pretty damned well for us. But the meaning is kind of obvious, unlike a couple of The Used's songs. Furthermore, a lyric correction... I believe it's 'Run we go, around again in circles', not around we go. Aaand.. That's my two cents on the matter. It's a brilliant song.. Makes me sad.

Godsmack – Straight Out Of Line Lyrics

This is a great song. I never really liked Godsmack, or rather, didn't pay attention to them. They sounded a little overrated. But then I got Prince of Persia, and I heard this song, and... Yeah. It was fuckin' great. As for what it means? This song is just saying 'back off', I believe. Not really saying I know the exact meaning, I don't. But that's what I get. Whee, there's my useless two cents. I'll be off!

HIM – Join Me In Death Lyrics

I only have one question to ask you all: Why are we talking about British models on a website where we're supposed to express our opinions on song lyrics? Answer that for me, and I can die fulfilled. But as for the song, I think it's one of the most moving songs I've ever heard. HIM's music does that to me, and this could very well be one of my favourite songs by HIM. And the meaning... Is rather obvious, if you ask me. Ciao!

Quite the brilliant song... Filled with feeling and emotion. The video made me cry, too. And Slash does indeed kick ass. I think it's pretty damn obvious what this song means. Also, I agree with Jeff. A few parts may have to do with heroin, but why the HELL would he ask if he can find heroin? He can't necessarily buy his girl back on the black market, that's all I'm saying.

AFI – Totalimmortal Lyrics

The Offspring is pretty good, but I've found that the first version I listen to is always my favourite. I listened to the AFI version first, and it of course, is the better of the two, but they're two different bands. Dexter Holland doesn't exactly have a 'good' voice. It's about the energy and the lyrics with The Offspring, I think. Davey Havok is just a damn good singer. I love both bands. As for the song? Marvelous, sensational, brilliant, teriffic, quite possibly their best, but can you really say AFI has a 'best' song? I don't think it's possible.

Blink-182 – Easy Target Lyrics

Actually, I'm sort of set in the fact that this song is about Hollywood (or 'Holly'). It could be about a girl, whatever. 'Holly's looking dry, looking for an easy target' means that Hollywood is looking for more people to make fashion statements or actors, or just whatever. 'Let her slit my throat, give her ammo if she'll use it' is how people get so sucked into fame. And all that... Whatever. If you take a minute to listen to it in this format, it makes some sense. But then: Does Blink ever really tell the truth about anything? They make up a lot of things... I've noticed that. Anyway. There was my two cents.

Well, I guess I'll add in my two cents, even if there are over three hundred posts on the matter. Tom DeLonge of Blink 182 said himself that this song is about a friend of his that commited suicide. But of course, they've been known for making up stories... Ehh, that's all I have to say ^^; Great song... Depressing... But nonetheless, great song.
