This is such a great song. i think this symbolizes when pink hs became so depressed he jsut does drugs to pass the time. also its when hes trying to talk to his wife, hence "when i pick up the phone, theres still nobody home". his wife is cheating on him because hes never around to be with her. the part that tells me hes doing drugs to pass the time is the line " i got nicotine stains on my fingers(i no ciggarettes aint really a drug but bear with me :P) and a silver spoon on a chain"(heroin). Trust me, there have been times when i was so bores that ive smoked a whole pack of ciggarettes jsut to past the time.(at work, go figure) any way thatss my interpretation |

This song is a good one. it describes the record companies ruthlessness for money. I do have to say that i think the line"oh by the way wich one's pink?" is refering to the industry always singling out the lead singer to be the most popular one, most indorsments, and possible solo carreer. |
