When I first heard this song, I thought "Gee, perhaps this song is about the environment or something and how humans ruined the planet. Perhaps Hilary Duff *DOES* have some depth to her after all." Then I laughed. This was actually a fairly good song, by far the best on her pathetic album. Then the music video came out. And the whole world got to see how Hilary could take something good, and make it repulsive. If we recap, this is one of the very very few songs of hers that is not about a BOY. Then it became a music video about WAITING for a boy to come and save her from a storm. She is obsessed with boys. Here is her mind in a nutshell: Boys, boys, boys, hmmm let's throw in some shopping, more boys, really hot boys, wet boys saving me from a storm, ooh makeup, makeup, and boys. Yeah, real deep Duff. |
