It's about a guy getting involved with a girl, something happens that makes no sense and they're apart. He wants to move on, but it's hard for him.
He doesn't want to waste her time anymore though with anything so he's just moving on and maybe when she matures later in life, they will meet again he hopes. He still wants her but knows she's immature, so he can't.

It's clearly about how sick he is about religions being sold to him and the social pressures of going towards one. It's about finding out things on your own and not listening to organized religions just because everyone else is doing it. Can't believe nobody's said this yet for the most part. I always thought the thing about the red cloth was a reference to a pastor or some sort of higher up clergyman. |

To me, it means one of two things:
1) A long distance relationship
2) Someone you like too much and you wish you could sleep next to them, but you can't...and you dream about them..and the only way you can be with them is in your dreams. |
