Makes me think of the Pharisees getting ready to stone the girl caught in adultery and then Jesus is like, "Hey, who here hasn't sinned? How 'bout that person get your stone and kill her?" Then the Pharisees drop their stones cuz WE'RE ALL SINNERS!
Maybe their trying to convey the message of not being all judgmental of people. |

Reminds me of that verse from Revelation when the author talks about it being either all for Jesus or not and how that's better than being all wish washy and lukewarm with your faith. |

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that all of them are Christian except for the bass player. The lead guitarist actually went to Bible school in his former Nural days. Pretty cool stuff. |

This song is about the book, "The Screwtape Letters," by C.S. Lewis. Read the book...it's awesome. It's a dialogue between Satan and one of his workers in which he's telling the worker how to destroy a man. |

I gotta agree with it being about Christ. We definitely "fall down before" Him when we realize we've sinned. And "fall into Your abounding grace", that's all about God's grace and mercy for us even though we're sinners. And I love the last line before the last chorus..."I'll never stray again". A great song to have playing when you wanna talk to God...well, for me it is cuz it gets my heart feeling lots of different emotions. It's sad to see how they've "strayed" from Christ though. |

It's crazy how this song has the same piano tune throughout the entire song, but yet it feels like it changes a lot from verse to chorus and etc. Absolutely awesome! |

I agree with Deadbolt03 about it being about temptation. I interpret the first verse as being the devil following us everywhere we go trying to tempt us and then he does and rolls out laughing at us because he won. And from some things I've read that Dustin wrote, he's a very strong Christian and nearly all his songs have reference to Christianity. But we all differ in what we take out of lyrics because we have different backgrounds and beliefs so it's all good in the hood. |

Yeah, they didn't sell out. Every band's style changes as they mature, well hopefully it does. They've matured so much lyrically and musically...I mean come on, they got some awesome time signatures on TAITA! Go see them in concert again and just listen to how Dustin talks...it's soooo apparent that they are totally humbled by their success. I give them mad props for not falling into the sins of the world that fame and money can draw you to. |

I'm kinda getting a Jesus Christ vibe from this...the part about digging the body up and drinking his golden blood. And then "deicide" refers to the killing of a divine being...AKA-Christ. |

I love the part when he sings, "Well the only place I can go is into Your arms where I throw to you my feeble prayers, well in brokenness I can see that this was your will for me, help me to know You are near"...man, it's sooooo powerful and hits me! |
