| Pink Floyd – Pigs on the Wing (Part 2) Lyrics | 21 years ago |

this is the anti-thesis to Pigs on the Wing Pt. 1 The singer is NOT the apathetic, broken, problematic, wandering person he described in the first part or any of the other songs, instead he's a balanced individual. He doesn't suffer any of the problems they had, "bury my bone" is just a way to say home sweet home, or joke that he was almost a dog. But he knows what's out there and watches for it. |

I agree with most of SK's definition... the sheep are just that, sheep, weak and following. they dream of overtaking the dogs, but instead, when the dogs die of their own devices, "Have you heard the news? The dogs are dead! You better stay home and do as you're told, get out of the road if you want to grow old" they are still to weak to do anything about it, and retreat now that there is nothing to herd them. |

This is about crafty people. the first paragraph is about survival and natural instincts, the bare bones to being an alpha male or a wolf in the fold. the second paragraph is the advanced techniques of the dog(or wolf), who is now cunning and suble, deceptive and sneaky. the third paragraph describes the self destruction this life leads to, as it decives you into thinking you've come out on top (packing up and moving down south to the sand) but you're only weak and feeble (hiding your head in the sand, dying of cancer). the fourth paragraph extrapolates on the self destruction you experience when you get what's coming to you for the way you've manipulated and lied. the next two paragraphs are told from the perspective of the dog who realizes what he's doing, but knows no better and presses forward to try to escape his guilt. then a self biography Who was born in a house full of pain, (he grew up in a place that was abusive and life seemd to enroach upon him) who was trained not to spit in the fan, (not sure about this one, but seems like he was taught that things that might seem fun are wrong) who was told what to do by the man, (typical additude "stick it to the man" - repressed by authority) who was broken by trained personnel, (entered the military and underwent "thought control", stripping away his humanity) Who was fotted with collar and chain, (mental conditioning, dog tags and given the drive and purpose of a dog) who was given a seat in the stand, (noted for his achivements) who was breaking away from the pack, (top of the class, distinguished) who was only a stranger at home, (yet could not deal with his family and "real" people) who was ground down in the end, (and he experiances the self destruction) who was found dead on the phone, (sort of like dying at your desk i guess) who was dragged down by the stone (Mark 9:42 "And whoever causes one of these little ones who believe to stumble, it would be better for him if, with a heavy millstone hung around his neck, he had been cast into the sea") |

| Pink Floyd – Pigs on the Wing (Part 1) Lyrics | 21 years ago |

the lyrics are If you didn't care What happened to me And I didn't care For you We would zig-zag our way through the boredom and pain Occasionally glancing up through the rain Wondering which of the buggars to blame And watching for pigs on the wing i have no idea wtf it means, but I'll take a stab at it. People can go through life completely careless and apathetic. If they wanted to do this, the only things they would have to worry about are who to accuse as the source of their problems (buggers to blame), and worrying about threats to their lifestyle(pigs off of their wing, approaching or riding with them during their life) |
