Well the entertainment industry to me is wasting tons of our money. Marketers trying to brainwash us and get into our households. Their ruthless human beings putting a pricetag on all out lives. I think boyd isnt talking about anything political but more how marketing and the entertainment industy has this country transfixed and paying lots of cash. |

Ok most songs are written like an essay. The author has a personal experience that he is singing about in the song. But the artist also is trying to convey a more simple message like in this song "Leave me here in my stark raving sick sad little world" talking about someone wasting their life sad little world. The message might not neccesarily about Dirk Lance but the song might of been inspired off him. Not a song devoted to him as much as using his life as an example to make a point. |
