| Marilyn Manson – This Is The New Shit Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
Well, if Heirophant is a Manson fan, he definitely is a candidate for the MOST stupidEST Manson fan. On the other hand, River Wolf, all musical artists, from Beethoven to Hanson, are going to have some really stupid fans as there is no direct connection between what type of music people like and his/her intellectual capabilities. Also, I really don't think he's talking about "how hardcore things are entertaining." "Do we get it? No. Do we want it? Yeah." Those two lines sum you guys up. Do you get the lyrics? NO! Do you like how they sound? YEAH! Am I going to get babbled babbled and bitched bitched by these rebel rebels that think they're muthafuckin' ready for a new idea. "Don't trash Manson, I love him. He's awesome." |

| Beastie Boys – Ch-Check It Out Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| Well, if you think the Beastie Boys have talent that a lot of other hip hop artists don't, you should see the music video to Jay-z's 99 problems. The song and the music video, everything, is pretty much done in the Beastie Boys style. I happen to like Jay-z better than the Beastie Boys, for songs any way. But no one, and I mean absolutely no one will ever make better music video than the Beastie Boys. | |
| Blink-182 – Blew Job Lyrics | 21 years ago |

Well, I can tell you a few things... punkpoppud - you suck. You say you type fast and think you make no mistakes. I type fast and have few, if any mistakes, in addition, I always punctuate and capitalize properly. Next step, people criticize me for going to Blink 182 pages. "y u on blink pages if you think they sux so bad? why dont you write sumtin like dis?" Eh...anyone know who Jack Black is? On one of his CDs, he write an extremely simple song, and claims it's his. His friend argues with him and claims that he can't copyright that and that anyone could have written it. Jack Black's response? "Ya dude, but guess who did write it? Me. Next Song. NEXT SONG." The point of all that? Well, Jack Black, in that song is making fun of corporate sell outs like Blink 182. There is no deep meaning to this (or most of) Blink 182 song(s). That doesn't mean you have to hate listening to the music. The music might sounds kind of good, but it does not change the fact that the band isn't exactly the Beethoven of "punk" rock. They play their songs to make money. Whether or not you think they are good is purely personal opinion as music is an art form. And finally, anyone who challenges me to learn to play an instrument or to write lyrics, here is my message to you: I know how to play multiple musical instruments and I've tried writing lyrics. I'm not that good at either, and I know this. That's why I don't try selling my bullshit to the public just to get money. I would doubt it if I knew more about musicality and such than these Blink 182 "punks" however. |

| Tool – Schism Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
I just want to say that all of you are wrong. Every last one of you. I also want to point out that it is interesting that the people making posts and condemning the churches and their closed-mindedness concerning denominations are acting just like the people they are criticizing. What yourselves. In my opinion, this song is about relationships--in the most absolute ambigious sense. [It is true that schism means more than just the Greek Ortho/Roman Cath division in the church. There are online dictioaries, go read one.] Relationship isn't a word just applicable to boyfriend/girlfriend situations. You have relationships with friends, parents, families, lovers, enemies, teachers, kids, adults, people you don't even know, associations even, like churches. The song is about the thing that makes a relationship a relationship. The fragility of it and the ease of it to distengrate if not carefully attended to. |
