Blink-182 – Fuck a Dog Lyrics 21 years ago
This song kicks ass. It's blink-182 at their complete stupidest. Nifty how they decided to give their fans some really, really stupidly entertaining songs like this as bonus tracks before coming out with a more serious album. I actually feel sorry for people who can't appreciate this kind of humor.

Blink-182 – When You Fucked Grandpa Lyrics 21 years ago
When you fucked Hitler... Dang. That would have been hilarious. That aside, this song kicks ass. It maketh me laugh just to think of it.

For whoever was asking, it's the second hidden track on the Green Jacket CD, after "Don't Tell Me That It's Over".

Dave Matthews Band – Say Goodbye (Album version) Lyrics 21 years ago
Awesome. Deserves whatever outrageous praise fans give to it, because it is a modern sonic masterpiece. The meaning should be pretty self-explanatory.

Dave Matthews Band – #41 Lyrics 21 years ago
I don't care what it's about, and honestly, I don't want to know. I just love listening to it... Over and over again. I've got a feeling that if I ever figure this one out it'll lose something. But that's why I never will.

"Crash" and "Under the Table and Dreaming" really are the best DMB albums... And I love how this song dissolves perfectly into "Say Goodbye".

Man, I swear, this is probably the best song DMB will ever make. #41 deserves to be in the ending credits of an awesome movie. As a film student I have to do something about that. (runs off to pick up digital video camera)

Blink-182 – I Miss You Lyrics 21 years ago
Strange how much this sounds like The Cure's "The Love Cats"- I noticed that even before reading the album flap thing- even if they are so dissimilar in lyrics, style and vocals.

This song is excellent- it's disappointing how it doesn't progress past the second chorus (it's a typical soft-piano bridge) but perhaps that's the point of the song- the raw but subtle emotion evident in the songwriting suits the song's eerie melody well.

Everyone is debating about the conflicting verses, but I personally think that the verses are two different people talking to one another... It depends on how you see it, but one person might be dead or dying and the other, well, to put it simply, misses them. This is furthered by the fact that Mark sings the first verse and Tom sings the second. Also, when Tom breaks out into saying "Don't waste your time on me, you're already the voice inside my head", it's like releasing an emotion his character has held throughout the entire song, and it makes the first chorus seem very calm by comparison.

You never know, I think everyone can pull out their own interpretation of this song. It's very well-made, and I was completely blown away upon my first hearing. More of a commercial single than any other song on the album, but the fact that that doesn't diminish the song is a testament to just how great it is.

Blink-182 – Obvious Lyrics 21 years ago
I love this song. I bet it'll sound even better live- gawd I MUST go to a blink-182 concert.... Man... I mean this song isn't played fast enough on the album... Anyway I love how it ends, with Tom screaming fast and furiously. A great second track, simple lyrics but powerful in execution.

Blink-182 – Not Now Lyrics 21 years ago
I really wish I had the European version of their new untitled album... But I downloaded this song and I love it. I still can't understand how they couldn't find a place for it in their new album. Sorry to hear about your ex boyfriend kate_3_6_90... My ex-girlfriend tried to commit suicide once- I'm so glad she made it though. "Not Now" is a song I always related to someone dying from a terminal illness.

Blink-182 – All of This Lyrics 21 years ago
This song is awesome. One of the best on the album. For me, it is describing the thoughts of a man who knows he is in a rebound relationship, and although he know sit's not going to work out in the end, and that he's not getting what he needs from his lover, he still goes on with the relationship because he understands that he hasn't learned anything from the past. That's just what I think about it. I love how this song goes together with "Easy Target", and being a fan of both blink-182 and The Cure this song is really special to me; it's everything I could have hoped for. The album wouldn't be complete without it. Robert Smith is a genius.

Blink-182 – Go Lyrics 21 years ago
I love this song. Heck, I even have a friend who loves it so much that swears by it. He doesn't come from a troubled family or anything, but somehow he can sit in his room and turn his stereo up full blast and listen to this song ALL DAY LONG. And I swear, even though I don't do that I can fully understand why he would do that. wiseaimee is right- this is such a raw punk rock song. It blows my ears off. I scream "GO!" along with Tom at the top of my lungs in my car when I'm driving all alone and this is in the CD changer. The bass in this song is really catchy for some reason. And Travis as usual is awesome here. The album *definitely* wouldn't be the same without it.

Blink-182 – Feeling This Lyrics 21 years ago
When I first heard this as their new single (album wasn't out here yet) I didn't know how to react. But I listened to it... Again and again and again. And I fell in love with it. And to this day my thoughts on it haven't changed a bit. There's nothing wrong with the video, really. But that's just 'coz I think that chick in the video who was playing around with that guy through the glass was really cute. Man... Anyway, this song is awesome. I like how Tom wrote the verses, and then sang them, as Mark did with the chorus. I also like how Tom joins in for the second half of the chorus. Somehow it completes it. The bridge of this song is simple but propelled by the same great lyrics we expect from blink. And I just love how it ends, with Tom and Mark singing simultaneously.

Blink-182 – Easy Target Lyrics 21 years ago
I LOVE how this song flows, and the drums really set the whole mood. There is nothing to not like about this song once you get used to it ending after the second chorus and having no bridge. I'm like davidecoyote in the sense that I love how 'Easy Target' ends with a perfect transition into 'All of This'. Here's hoping sometime in the future they make a linked video with those two songs, since they are connected in more ways than one, and 'Easy Target' is too short to have its own formal music video.

Blink-182 – Down Lyrics 21 years ago
What I love about this song is how the verses seem so calm, describing the situation in the car, and the building up to the chorus is loud, but the chorus itself is thoughtful and catchy. It's like the verses symoblize the situation in the singer's head, the loud refrain symbolizes the feelings that he doesn't want to let out, but hopes the girl would understand somehow, and the chorus is about how the situation makes him feel, as if he is looking back at this moment in the car from a future time and realizing how being in that situation made him feel so down. This is another great song from their newest album. ^_^

Blink-182 – Asthenia Lyrics 21 years ago
Wow, I honestly thought I was the only guy who was totally in love with this song, but there are others, too. ^_^ Amazing. This is probably the deepest song on the album. I *LOVE* the intro- it gives me that feeling of being a kid in a planetarium. And the bridge is one of the best on the album- I love Tom's riffs, and Travis' drums building up to the final renditions of the chorus. I think if you listen close enough, everyone can relate to this song. You guys all have great views on it. Stephanie xx I love that part too. Beautiful. Another golden track from this incredible album.

Blink-182 – Always Lyrics 21 years ago
I think this song is about a relationship where it seems that both know it is going to end, and at first Tom sings as if he's savoring the moments that are left and that he wants to leave it at that, but at the end of the second verse he says "Let's start this again for real" so I believe that he is saying that despite their differences he is willing to give their relationship another chance. This is echoed when he repeats the refrain twice, with more intensity the second time, before moving on to the chorus. Well, that's just how I see it.
I love this song because blink-182 is really just playing around with musical ingredients from the '80s, like the ultra-fast tambourine in the chorus (it says in the album insert that they're tambourines so don't tell me it's a cymbal).

Blink-182 – Here's Your Letter Lyrics 21 years ago
To me, this song sums up what I felt during the majority of my high school. It's about that period in life where your relationships mean everything, and you pour your life into them, but are never sure if you're setting yourself up for disappointment. That's where the tension comes from, from assuming that your lover can understand what you are going through and vice versa. The problem is occuring within himself. On a side note, I love how Mark sings this whole song alone as a throwback to how things used to be; Tom seems to sing in every other song of the album (except The Fallen Interlude). I also love this song's placing in the album at track 13 because it comes in between two songs that don't sound like what you'd expect from blink-182. I love this song not only because it reminds me of high school, but also because if you listen to the whole CD at once it hits at just the right time, and even ends with the good old-fashioned blink ending (guitar fade) and sets up perfectly for "I'm Lost Without You".

Blink-182 – 21 Days Lyrics 21 years ago
This is my second favorite blink-182 song from Buddha (behind Carousel, of course) and probably one of my favorites. The lyrics in the first verse hold a lot of meaning for me somehow. I think this song is about a guy who just realizes how insecure being in a relationship has made him... That's just my opinion.
less182jake the whole the whole 3 weeks = 3 verses thing is interesting, but I don't know if that was intentional on their part. Maybe, because in each verse there does seem to be progress in his relationship with this woman.
And lemme just say that everyone knows how much The Ramones and The Sex Pistols rocked. But they're gone. Nobody can replace them. But now we have blink-182 and we love 'em. Who cares about whatever irrelevant label that people spank on the music that blink makes? It's all music. We are the fans and we think they rock.

Blink-182 – I'm Lost Without You Lyrics 21 years ago
Warning: this is going to be long. I signed up here specifically to give my thoughts this song. ^_^
This is possibly my favorite blink-182 song, and I've been a fan since Dude Ranch came out. On the album insert Tom says this is a song that can only be fully realized when listened to with headphones. I wholeheartedly agree. This is a beautiful song to play even while driving, but there are so many different effect playing harmonically in the background that I could (and I do) listen to it for hours on end on sleepless nights- it's an endless source of writing inspiration. I love what they've done here, turning these honest, straight-from-the-heart lyrics into a powerful song that balances quiet rhythm and hard-hitting choruses. I heard that this song was 6 months in the making, and I believe it. This is something that Pink Floyd would have written. Tom's voice is perfect for this song; the way he sings the choruses is so earnest and heartfelt... Everyone will have a different interpretation of what this song means, but for me it has a specific meaning that I don't know how to describe. There is some kind of chill that runs down my spine whenever I hear the second verse... It's like an intense form of nostalgia. Anyway I never knew they were capable of making an album like this one, and I hope they continue making songs like this, though I doubt I'll ever hear anything like "I'm Lost Without You". jenlovesmusic, I think that the train noise is more of a mood-setting effect than a haunting one. I love how The_Soul describes this song, too. Kudos. I'm gonna get me some mexican food.
