i always thought this was about coming closer to god in a scense of going to animal "fucking" instincts, but something else clicked when i heard it in relation to the idea behind "the downward spiral"- the line "you can have my isolation
you can have the hate that it brings " when put next to "ive got no soul to sell" almost gives the idea of this being about rape, and actualy trying to pass these evil feelings unto another human being, this seems more likely if u listen to all the lines about having "lack of faith", it seems similar to those feelings of being violated in the sense of rape.. just a thought |

this is about a girl who is desperate for affection, and realy needs a relationship, and yet he is satisfied with "meeting her in the bathroom". this is extremely relevant to teenage love and lust, and exploration. and obvious reference to being a teenager in the "meet me in the bathroom", as it shows how the girl is assertive but theyre afraid of showing the affection, he affection based on lust and need for affection, the reference to highschool comes out in the setting for the "lust" (ie bathroom), probably more understandable if uve done the same thin ; ) |

to me this is definately about sex, but more out of lust, like he's genuinaly happy for the sex but at the same time in a sense its a one time thing, in which he really needs something else |
