| A Skylit Drive – Knights Of The Round Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| One, I am all about people having their own opinion about songs, music, ect... Be it people think this is about FF or something else, let them have their own opinion. I also think that people can have their own opinion about Jonny and Jag. Honestly, I think they are both great. Lyrically and vocally. I think Jonny did amazing things in Dance Gavin Dance, A Skylit Drive, now Emerosa and Isles and Glaciers. He is just pure awesome. I also think Jag is great. He brings a lot to ASD. Losing Jonny sucked but he has done great things everywhere else. Jag, has done great things for ASD and I think he suits the band just fine. I've talked to him after shows and I think he is a great guy. ASD wouldn't be nearly as awesome without him. Probably the best move for ASD with Jonny moving on. | |

| I'll clear this up real quick. I have a best friend from Fort Worth, Tx who knows (yes knows, not knew) Todd Lewis. The song is about a vampire. Not to mention it's as clear as daylight as well... | |
| Novice – This Is Me Lyrics | 20 years ago |

This is a great song.... However, the meaning of this song (and most of the songs) are about God. All the members in Novice are very Christian. Plus, my wife is friends with them. Was in band in HS with them. "So caught up in my own head, that I can't see, what you're working in me..." Right there tells you that the song is a little something more than "a girl" "I know I'll feel alright if I just let you in, There's nothing holding me back..." Obviously, it's about letting Jesus Christ back into your heart. |

| A Thorn for Every Heart – Things Aren't So Beautiful Now (Part II) Lyrics | 20 years ago |

First of all, one word describes this song: POWERFUL. This is the song that I would play at my funeral for my wife... But, to the point: buryyourdead probably has the best meaning to this song. Whether or not it is his wife/girlfriend, we do know that it is his significant other. "Seems like years as the telephone rings, Chokes gas with the awful news it brings. A phone call she's been avoiding, She knows he's reached the end." His significant other is avoiding the phone call (most likely from a doctor/physician) of her significant other's death. "Hooked up to the respirator, Please laugh into my CALLOUS lungs. My hearbeat's getting fainter, I know my time has come." He knows his time has come to fade away... "It's getting colder, AND TRYING to show her that I'm not the one, To be there beside her, now I'm crossing over can no one console her. I know she'll remain, with no way to end this pain." His time has come to pass away 'cross over'. He knows he can't be there beside her to comfort 'console' her even though he wants to so bad. "No one seems to realize, the things that I, the things that I've done to you. Why do you paint your love with all your heart, with all that a heart can give." Here, he is reflecting on things he has done to her; probably bad things. He can't quite understand why she can love him so much even though he hasn't been the best lover to her as he could have/should have been. "Intentions that you'll never know, The reason why I had to lead astray. I gave you a last time, a painted remorse. (Mistakes that were never yours)" He's stating to himself that there were things that he had done and wish he could have done diferently. He wants her to know that the mistakes where never hers. "The wrong in my life can never relate, it flashes before my eyes..." His life is flashing before his eyes, all the things that he has done wrong which he would never be able to fix. "(How did he come to this, His mind is working harder than ever before. Thousands of thoughts in seconds. His last thoughts were of her, and how he and he alone had destroyed the once vibrant spirit he had inherited so deeply. The last pain he had ever caused is to the only woman that had ever loved him...)" To me, this is the BEST part of the song... His life is flashing all the events of his life, most paticularly of her. He knows that he has done things to 'break her spirit' and it was the last pain he had ever caused. They had probably had a fight or something bad happened before he was in his final state. "The bright light is calling me over, I follow and leave you alone. Now you're all alone, and I leave you with nobody by your side. Not to hurt you ever again. Never break your spirit's torment." This pretty much obviously explains itself. He's gone from this world, leaving his significant other alone to never be hurt again. "Now I'm all alone, Still a cherish with things that you gave into me The bright light is calling me over, I follow and leave you alone." He's alone now, heaven or hell, who knows. He's thankful for the things that she has done for him and will cherish them forever. That's pretty much my explination of the song. The song explains itself actually. This is by far, my favorite song. It's just beautiful. I hope this helps explain any holes if you had any. This was my first song that I tried to decypher the meaning so feedback would be nice. Kudos to buryyourdead for having the basic concept of it. |

| Best Interest – piece of my heart Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| This song is great... kinda reminds me of myself and my first real girlfriend. She pretty much abused the hell out of me, then I took off to the Air Force and she went college, screwed a few guys, dumped me. Typical chick shit. Now, I am extremly careful about feelings with other chicks. I don't want the same crap to happen again. | |
