deep and down and Red Army are both "i hate mainstream bcuz umm ppl told me its gay" kinda ppl. now i tend to stray away from mainstream since alot of it is crap. but being mainstream doesnt make a band shitty, most shitty bands are mainstream bcuz most of the public only listen to bands that theyre able to play/are simply written. But COF devotes much time to their lyrics and have some fast riffing aswell as alot of good work w/ the synthesizer. Just bcuz they dont go burning down churches to get their point across doesnt mean they suck.... |

I think this song is refering to ppl who only think about themselves and dont realize that theyre alone in this world and theyre hurting ppl along w/ themselves along the way. This is a prime example of how In Flames used to be so good, but now caved into popularity/selling records and turned into an almost nu-metal band w/ The Quiet Place. |

Its about idiotic ppl who assume that children are gonna grow up to be Satanist jsut bcuz they listen to music that discusses the dark side. Im a huge Danzig fan, well a big fan of Samhain and Misfits too (Glenns the man), and i dont care for this song too much anymore bcuz it became the "Enter Sandman" for Danzig. I mean its a good song, even has a cool solo, but lyrically compared to Glenn's later works it doesnt really compare at all. |
