Chunnabee, absolutely correct. "We were trying different things. We were smoking funny things." Things - Things... Same fucking word. You can't find anything to rhyme with "things?" Musically it sucks too. Congratulations, you mashed up 2 songs by legendary groups and you took a huge shit all over it. Who gives a flying F about Northern Michigan? I suspect that only pre-teens and teens enjoy this steaming pile of horse manure. |

I see this song being about the nervousness you would feel after cheating on a boyfriend/girlfriend. How you'll hide from the person, because you feel guilty ("if anyone asks, i will be hiding from you").. How bad you want that secret to be kept (I read that in "and if there's some safe ground, i'm all for it") Just my thought. |

| This song, to me.. is about someone who's been in depression before. Mind you, not everyone goes into depression.. Sure, everyone gets sad, but not everyone gets depressed. Anyways, the song seems to be about someone who's been in depression, came out happy.. and fell back in again. He knows how "wonderful" life is outside of depression, and longs for those days again. | |
