mhm yeah. this song is kickass. and so damn sexy.
i interpret it as sort of, this guy goes out to clubs all the time, but doesn't really know why, because as soon as he gets there he feels dumb. he wants to pick up the hot chicks like his buddies do, but he's sort of insecure about it--"you'll probably move right through me.."
i'm betting he's competant anyways, despite his insecurities, because he knows he "wants to make (her) move" and probably knows exactly how to do it, too.

i've probably heard this song four dozen times, but i didn't think twice about it until today. i recently broke up with my long-time, long-distance boyfriend, because we were both getting busy with college and everything and i was feeling like he didn't care about me anymore. i am a pre-med student, and i 'figured' i could get over him, that better things would be coming my way, that i could reason my way out of love. and then i saw him again. for the first time since we split, i saw him, and all of a sudden he was telling me how much i still meant to him and how he never stopped loving me. and now i just don't know what to do with myself.
this song is about second chances, after giving reasoning and logic a fair try, and finding out there isn't a logical reason for everything, going back to love, going back to the start. |

hey, who cares if the song is about a prostitute. i dont think people should judge a song based on its music video, b/c the video is visual and the song was written to be audio, heard, not written to be seen. i unplugged my mtv, lol. but muse is definately UNDERrated, at least in my part of the world. i would like to meet ppl who appreciate music like this, lol |

i think that the concept of a mash up is not to do a tribute to either of the artists but to make the end product stand totally on its own, and it's not supposed to be judged as "jay z's" or "linkin park's" but as a separate entity. i dont particularly like either artists on their own, but i do appreciate their efforts in pioneering this idea of combination. mash ups are here to stay, many more will come, you will see.

this song means this guy is sick of being outcast and rejected by people, he just wants ppl to like him and pay attention to him, he feels unloved. so the "red button" would have a double purpose-to get his anger at not being important to anyone out and also to make ppl know him and know he's alive, even if he's known for something bad. i dunno, maybe im totally off, but thats what i get from it |
